PROFILE
ABOUT JENNY
My formal artistic career started in the 1980s when I completed a BFA in sculpture at Queens University and then attended the Banff School of Fine Art for a winter cycle in the Fibre Art Department.
This started a lifelong obsession with experimentation and materials, and over the last 40 years, my work has expanded to include ceramics, glass, mould-making, drawing, film and writing and Installations. I have attended residencies and workshops to increase my skills and conceptual thinking, including the Master’s program at the University of Minnesota and Art Education at the University of British Columbia.
I have exhibited in Canada, the United States, France, Scotland, Ireland, South Korea, Japan, New Zealand and Australia. I am both a New Zealander and a Canadian and after living in New Zealand for many years, I now base myself out of Whistler, Canada.
